An information session on the new Aurelia II T3 innovation was held on March 7, 2012. Dario Verdini of Nuova Simonelli and Barista champion Gwilym Davies were on hand to answer all our guests' questions on this new technology. ECM would like to thank all our visitors and attendees for such a great turn out.

Aurelia II - T3 technology
The T3 system establishes new reference standards for temperature accuracy in water supply. The barista can set the temperature distribution of each group with maximum flexibility, using 3 different parameters (water, group, steam).

The Western Canadian
Regional Barista Championship is being held for the first time at EAT! Vancouver on June 1, 2 & 3, 2012 at the BC Place Stadium in Vancouver.
Once again Nuova Simonelli Aurelia will be provided by ECM for this barista competition and we would like to take this opportunity to wish best of luck to all the participants at this year's event.

A quick look at what a barista must accomplish to compete in the "Canadian National Barista Championship".

These are clips from “Glutton for Punishment: which aired in 2007. The competition itself was held in 2006 at the Vancouver Convention Centre where ECM was one of the sponsors supplying “Aurelia" espresso machines to the baristas.
